Summary:
The Sales Support Specialist will provide the highest level of support to our Packaging division sales team, and ultimately to our customers, by ensuring on-time and full delivery of needs, including opportunity review, quote proposal preparation, and sales order entry.
POSITION DETAILS:

Responsibilities:
o Assist sales reps in managing the opportunity/sales order/delivery life cycle for our customerso Opportunity Maintenance:
Support assigned sales reps and customers through the following key actions:
o Organize and manage sales opportunities through the CRM dashboard, including pricing, freight, issue resolution, etc.
o Create and maintain reports to track sales win/loss informationo Act as the primary contact regarding sales opportunity questionso Coordinate with sales team and customer to collect all relevant information to create and deliver quotes in timely manner (ideally 24-hour turnaround time)o Opportunity Development:
Act as liaison between sales, sourcing, and procurement to organize and communicate all relevant information to the sales rep and/or the customer, including:
o Order pricing and costso Quote and order status, both initiate and monitoro Item system set-upo Price schedule revisionso Discount rate changeso Assist with customer sample requestso Organize customer artwork and work with internal/external teamso Record progress in Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systemo Collaborate with internal sourcing team to find solutions to customer needs, including sourcing assistance as neededo Prepare quotes on product-only requests, including the product specification and pricing informationo Sales Orders:
Enter Sales Orders for assigned sales reps and customers, including:
o Ensure quality and customer satisfaction on final deliveryo Coordinate with accounting and customer experience departments for final payment arrangements, and general account statuso Act as key point of contact to provide delivery updates and/or answer customer questions related to the execution of the projecto Partner with Shipping/Logistics to coordinate the transport of necessary materialso Maintain accurate pricing information for each customero Other duties as assigned by the Director of Sales, PackagingREQUIREMENTS:
o Bachelor's degree in business, project management or related field requiredo 3-5 years of experience in project planning, estimation, or management preferredo Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general computer software requiredo Knowledge of business and management planning, resource allocation, coordination of people and resourceso Competencies utilized:
active listening, written and verbal communication, service orientation, negotiation, decision making, good judgement, problem solving, time management, attention to detail, cost control, and schedulingo Applicants chosen for employment will be required to submit to a criminal background check and drug screeningOTHER:
